Tasmanian Hikes:

Cancellation and Refund Policy Guests canceling their tour up to 8 to weeks prior, a full refund less the tour deposit [$500] will be refunded. If guests cancel a tour less that 8 weeks up until the pre-booked departure date, no refund will be given. If guests wish to transfer their booking to another date this can be done up to 8 weeks prior only. Should a participant/guest need to leave a tour once it has commenced, due to a medical emergency or any other reason, no refund, partial or in full, will be given. Should Tasmanian Hikes have to cancel a tour due to lack of numbers, guests will be given 14days notice. If we can’t offer you an alternative tour that would suit you, we will refund your payment in full less a 5% administration fee. The 5% administration fee is 5% of the tour cost. Tasmanian Hikes reserves the right to vary, cancel or postpone a tour due to unsafe conditions such as severe weather, floods, bush fires or sudden track closures. We reserve the right to cancel a tour, in whole or in part if it is necessary to do so due to a force majeure event. Tasmanian Hikes strongly recommends that suitable travel insurance be purchased by the traveller to cover any financial loss, due to your own cancellation, or if Tasmanian Hikes has to cancel a tour. Tasmanian Hikes will not be responsible for your travel expenses or losses arising from a cancellation. We also strongly recommend that comprehensive travel insurance be taken out against loss of baggage or any medical expenses.

Go Ride a Wave:

Cancellation (within) between 48 hours – 7 days prior to lessons will result in a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellation (within) less than 48 hours prior to program will result in a 100% cancellation fee. A full refund will be given if lessons are cancelled due to weather/ surf conditions.

Whitsundays Sailing Adventures:

Prices are based on multi-share accommodation unless otherwise specified. Prices do not include airfares. Cancellations made less than 21 days before departure will result in complete forfeiture of full price. We reserve the right to substitute vessels without notice at any time for any reason. We recommend you take out travel insurance. Clients should note that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard guests, we cannot be responsible for any damage, personal injury or loss due to the actions of passengers that are beyond our control. All cruises are subject to weather and the vessel operator’s discretion. At certain times of year ‘dangerous’ jellyfish inhabit these waters and passengers should take care for their own safety. Passengers entering the water do so at their own risk and the owners or operators of the vessel will not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death or any other consequences whatsoever of passengers being stung by jellyfish. To minimise this risk you will be provided with a full length protective ‘Snorkel Suit’ to wear whilst swimming and snorkelling during the cruise. Whitsundays Sailing Adventures.com and its related bodies corporate, its officers, employees and agents is not the owner or operator of any vessel on which passengers sail. Accordingly, it shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any injury to person or property which is suffered or sustained by any passenger as a result of participating in any of its sailing adventures, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Eco Safaris Queensland:

Cancellation Fee: Within 48 hours – 20% of fee, within 24 hours – 100% of fee PLUS any fee incurred by activities ESQ books with external companies.

Ocean Rafting:

Cancellations are accepted up until 7.00pm the night prior to the tour.

Air Whitsunday - Whitsundays Seaplane:

100% fee applies to services cancelled within 24 hours of departure.

Oceanic Victor:

Customers may make changes to their bookings up to 24 hours prior to visiting, these changes are made by the Agent on the Rezdy online booking platform. If a customer wishes to cancel their booking the following conditions apply; • A confirmed order is locked in. Changes can be made up to 24 hours prior to the original booking time, but is non-refundable. • A pending order may be cancelled with a full refund. • No shows are non-refundable. • Cancellations of confirmed orders inside 7 days prior to the visit are non-refundable. Oceanic Victor operates in a marine environment, and there is an inherent risk of cancellation due to heavy weather. Oceanic Victor reserves the right to cancel visits if extreme weather or other conditions pose a threat to the safety of customers. In the event of cancellation by the operator, customers will be re-booked for an alternative date or provided with a full refund. Refunds will only be provided to the person who made the booking.
